Blythe Chief of Police

We are a small police department that wanted to start a UAS program, but didn’t know where to start. We needed help to cover the massive Colorado River area of responsibility. Our mission needs included search and rescue, suspect searches, search warrant service and mapping missions, to name a few. UAS Resolve came highly recommended and we got started immediately!

UAS Resolve provided equipment recommendations, best use policies, steps to document operations, and most importantly, training on the dreaded FAA PART 107 exam. Due to the assistance we received, we are flying several successful missions a month, and are the “Go-To” support asset for neighboring LE agencies.

Our UAS program would not be where we are today without the guidance of UAS Resolve!

As a Battalion Chief for California's largest Fire Department, I've been through a lot of training during the last 15 years. I found UAS Resolve's instruction both clear and thorough. Right from the gate, it was obvious that they are subject matter experts for both drone operations and as pilot instructors. As they shared the knowledge to pass FAA part 107 drone pilot's license during which you realize aviation is like learning a new language. However, Dario helps you through the process without getting tied down into the weeds. Within 3 days of instruction, I learned about the different air spaces, rules and regulations, aircraft right of way, and real-world utilization to not only be within the law but also be safe when utilizing my drone on emergency incidents. I was confident going into my test and everyone in the class passed 107, even with wide ranges of backgrounds and agencies. The only drawback is that you may develop a new hobby when you go off shift.

As the UAS Coordinator for a large southern California sheriff’s department, I sought a training program for our staff to get their FAA Part 107 licenses. UAS Resolve exceeded all of my expectations. Their military and law enforcement background, coupled with the fact they have FAA-certified flight instructors, instilled a high level of professionalism in our staff. They incorporated our policies and COA into the Part 107 course, and after training over 100 UAS remote pilots, our students still have a 100% FAA examination pass rate. I recommend this training.

UAS Resolve was outstanding to work with -- top instructors, excellent knowledge/experience, and outstanding training! We use our newly trained pilots and drones for tactical operations daily; I wish we did this training years ago as it is paramount to safety. If you want to set a higher standard, UAS Resolve will help set the bar high and exceed your expectations.

If you are a small team or large agency--UAS Resolve is the BEST -- PERIOD. Our K-9 team knew nothing about drones, the FAA or airspace. In 3 days, the UAS Resolve FAA PART 107 training course taught us what we needed to know to pass the exam, but explained it from a first responder perspective--who better to teach LE than a fellow LEO? A ton of information is a short amount of time....worth every penny!

As we continually try to be on the cutting edge of technology, utilizing drones to meticulously map crime scenes is the future. UAS Resolve was the perfect company to help certify us as FAA PART 107 drone pilots all while ensuring we did it safely and within the parameters of our COA. With a wide age range of technicians and zero aviation knowledge, UAS Resolve made drone operations in the national airspace easy to understand--in just 3 days!
